NEW MEMORIALS
We offer a varied range of memorials/headstones mainly by commission using modern methods of lettering and traditional methods to create contemporary designs while working closely with the client to bring a personal touch to their loved ones stone. We prefer to use locally sourced natural stone; Scottish granites, Caithness sandstone... but also work in British sources stone for creating unique memorials in any size.
We understand that this process is not always simple, we are here to discuss and help you along the way.

Restoration & Cleaning
Able to confidently tackle any type of stone to bring back, close to its original installed state. Time and careful planning will be taken to assess and chose the correct method of removing the lichen, moss and biofilms that naturally grow on weathering stone.
Also included in the restoration process, would be to re-paint/re-gild the disturbed old paint, making the letters easily readable once again.

There can be a multitude of reasons for fallen memorials, wall plaques and house signs to need refixed. The majority, if not all can be rectified and will give you peace of mind that it has been professionally secured.

Additional Inscriptions
If you are adding to an already erected memorial, you really need to think of the new inscription and how that would flow naturally, in keeping with existing lettering.
- Font - Wording
- Spacing - How much space will be needed for future use.
But don't worry too much as I will be here to guide you through this process.
Anything can be cut into stone from dates, names and character traits to poems and lyrics.
Work can be carried out on site. These could be V-incised using traditional methods of hammer and chisel or U-incised using the method of sand blasting.
